We are "enjoying", very hot weather here in South Africa at the moment with Uppington in the North, topping 40c, which is too hot for most. Here on the Garden route we have a mostly very pleasant 25-28c.....

"Here in South Africa we are in early Spring time and the Western and Eastern cape Ostrich hatching season, should be in full swing but due to a cold and wet winter in the Cape, the hatching season is late with very low chick numbers. No doubt as in most farming matters the numbers will catch up and like waiting for a London bus, they will "all come at once"...
